Meet Angus Stovold. He is a Farmer breeding pedigree Aberdeen Angus cattle who lives and works in the Surrey Hills. He is passionate about conserving the Surrey Hills and a keen cyclist.
Angus comments: “We have visitors from all over the world to our farm and they cannot believe how rural the Surrey Hills are and just how beautiful – and only 30 minutes from London! I get inspiration from living here and trying my best to manage it for future generations.
I’m an avid mountain biker and often cycle across Hankley, Crooksbury or Frensham Commons, you can go from wet bogland to high, dry, lowland, heathland to beautiful parklands with fantastic trees and views. I am privileged to live, work and play in the Surrey Hills landscape. The whole landscape is marvellous, I urge anyone to get out walk, cycle or drive through this landscape – it’s a fantastic place”
