Denbies Wine Estate

Along the Mole Gap Trail…

An established vineyard producing a variety of quality wines

The Denbies Estate consists of 254 hectares of woodland, downland and, of course, the vineyards. Its free-draining, chalky, south and west facing slopes are particularly suited to the growing of grapes. The estate is particularly suited to the production of high quality sparking white wines. The visitor centre and winery is a good place to stop for food and drink before travelling onward to Dorking. As well as a reputation for grape production, the estate has areas of woodland and chalk downland that are important habitats for a variety of plants and animals.
