Designer/maker of jewellery made in Guildford inspired by the Surrey Hills
Designer of gold and silver jewellery made using traditional silversmithing methods in Guildford with precious and semi precious stones.
We specialise in recycling and repurposing materials and turning something un-loved and unused into something modern and wearable.
We can also engrave and personalise and, as each of our pieces are made by hand, we can make to measure which always makes a lovely personal and unique gift.
After many years working in big corporations and a final few years commuting to the City I gave it all up 3 years ago to change my lifestyle and invest in an industry and product that I love – jewellery.
Having been brought up by 2 archaeologists and with a brother who specialises in selling old glass and silverware, I had a natural inclination towards traditional methods and using my source of ‘scrap’.
So many beautiful things are hidden away or unworn because they are no longer appreciated, I saw that I could create a business that brought these things back to life and make beautiful wearable jewellery. So sometimes a pair of earrings might be an old silver spoon, and a cuff an old bowl. Wherever my imagination takes me… and always unique
The Surrey Hills are my inspiration
A huge amount of. my inspiration comes from my walks with the dog in the Surrey Hills especially Newlands and Puttenham, I truly don’t believe there is anything as beautiful as the views. My little acorn pearls are based on acorns collected at Puttenham and I am constantly looking at the nature around us – we are so lucky to have it, and have it so well maintained for us!
