All our scones, cakes and sandwiches are baked by our award-winning chef and owner, Adam McLaren. We can tailor your experience to accommodate bespoke requests.
In March 2020, the Hospitality industry was hit hard. The companies that would usually supply Hotels, Restaurants & Schools with fresh foods were beginning to struggle whilst many people were finding it increasingly hard to visit grocery stores to get their essentials. Adam & Maria put their heads together to find a solution that would not only help their own family and struggling suppliers, but people in their local community too; McLaren Fine Foods was born.
They began delivering fresh fruit, vegetables and eggs around their local area which soon escalated and more products added as the demand grew. With help from other businesses including the loan of a refrigerated van from Walton Meats in Ashford and local deli space offered by the Pantry in West Byfleet, we were able to evolve and adapt through the pandemic.
Adam decided to give up his role as Executive Chef for a group of restaurants in London to develop McLaren Fine Foods further and hasn’t looked back since. With two boys, two dogs, running a household and a business, the shared passion for good food is at the very heart of our family.
We opened our very own Fine Foods/Farm shop in Weybridge, Surrey in October 2020 where we offer a variety of locally produced foods along with wine, craft beers and local gin. We have an eco-refill station where customers can fill their own containers in an effort to reduce waste and plastic packaging. We also offer deliveries of Afternoon Tea and other products 7 days a week. All of our cakes, cinnamon buns, doughnuts and scones are baked by us each day and have proved to be a hit with the locals.
Since opening, we have had such a wonderful warm welcome and are so pleased that we took the chance.
