Hills and Mills

Along the Mole Gap Trail…

An encounter with the Pipp Brook, the tributary of the River Mole

The open parkland of Meadowbank offers the first views of Dorking, your destination. Dorking is a town closely linked to the hills that surround it. Even in the heart of the town views of the hills are possible whether they are the chalk hills of the North Downs or the Greensand Hills to the south. The most, noticeable built landmark, however, is the magnificent spire of St Martin’s church. At 64 metres it is one of the tallest parish church spires in England.
