Flying Scotsman chugging through the Surrey Hills

JS79887878The legendary locomotive 60103 Flying Scotsman, is back in service following a £4.2 million overhaul.

After more than a decade away from the mainline, the world-famous train that has been running between Edinburgh and London since 1862, will be touring the UK this year.

On June 1, the Flying Scotsman will pass through the Surrey Hills, offering lucky passengers the opportunity to enjoy the stunning views of our area of outstanding natural beauty, while on-board the nation’s favourite locomotive.

Departing from London Victoria at 6.50pm, the evening journey will make its way across the chalk North Downs that run from Farnham in the west, above Guildford , Dorking and Reigate, to Oxted in the east before returning in London at 11.15pm.
