An outdoor adventure at the beautiful Surrey Hills Yurts site near Westcott, Dorking. Led by experienced artist-teachers and encouraging creative responses to the Surrey Landscape. Witha fire pit and plenty of exciting activities to inspire and excite with a lungful of fresh air thrown in for free!

Workshop theme: Exploring line and mark-making

Workshop Time: 1:00 to 3:30 pm

We always start with circle time at the fire and a group mindful fire-lighting session. Followed by two exciting outdoor art workshops inspired by the surroundings including

• Fireside Drawing / Zen doodling
• Break / Refreshments
• Outdoor nature print-making workshop (mono-printing)

Thursday 10 August | £35

Workshop theme: Nature as Inspiration

Workshop Time: 1:00 to 3:30 pm

We always start with circle time at the fire and a group mindful fire-lighting session. Followed by two exciting outdoor art workshops inspired by the surrounding including:

• Expressive animal drawing workshop with pencil and ink
• Break / Refreshments
• Yarn Bombing / Natural Intervention Sculpture Workshop

Wednesday 16 August | £35

Workshop theme: Drawing with light

Workshop Time: 1:00 to 3:30 pm

We always start with circle time at the fire and a group mindful fire-lighting session. Followed by two exciting outdoor art workshops inspired by the surrounding including:

• Sun-print Photography Taster
• Break / Refreshments
• Wire and Mod-roc plaster Sculpture

Thursday 17 August | £35

Workshop theme: Pattern and Imagination

Workshop Time: 1:00 to 3:30 pm

We always start with circle time at the fire pit and a group mindful fire-lighting session. Followed by two exciting outdoor art workshops inspired by the surrounding including:

• Mandala drawing and other zen doodling
• Break / Refreshments
• Expressive landscape workshop (Collage and ink)

 

You can book online for one or for all sessions. Double up Discount available on 2 day Art Pass with further discounts for booking for all 4 days. Please include all relevant information on your children in the booking form provided including any severe allergies or any other information you think we should know beforehand.

All materials are included in the price of the workshop as are light refreshments. Workshop leaders are all experienced artist teachers and are all fully CRB checked.
