The Salt Box South Nutfield Surrey RH1 4EJ
Join The Salt Box in the woods for a collaboration with Lorraine from Hedges and Hurdles.
We’re combining natural crafts and seasonal food for a day beneath the trees at our Woodland Glen on the Priory Farm estate, followed by a feast cooked over fire and inspired by seasonal, local ingredients.
We’ll be welcoming Lorraine, co-founder of Hedges and Hurdles, who will teach us a heritage skill in our outdoor workshop. You will learn a traditional technique of weaving Willow to make your very own Obelisk to support your climbers such as Sweet Peas or Clematis. Your finished Obelisk can be between 3ft and 7ft in height and handled with care, should last you for several years.
Following the workshop, we’ll sit down at our shared dining table beneath the trees for a 2-course lunch, cooked over an open fire.
