SURREY HILLS WOOD FAIR 2018
A celebration of the Surrey Hills within the beautiful setting of woodlands and surrounding countryside.
DATES: Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th October 2018
TIME: 10am – 5pm
VENUE: A new location at Fish Pond Copse, Bookhurst Road, Cranleigh, Surrey GU6 7DW
DIRECTIONS: Access from Bookhurst Road on the A2127 between Cranleigh and Ewhurst.
A magnificent setting amongst woodlands and fields with easy access from Cranleigh within the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Thank you to Birtley House and all their team for so generously hosting the Surrey Hills Wood Fair over the last 8 years. The change in location is due to the visitor car parking in the neighbouring farmers field no longer being available due to the field being planted with Trees.
TICKETS: £7.50 in advance (advance tickets closes at 12 noon on Friday 5th October) or £10 on the gate or on-line after 12 noon on Friday 5th October. Free for children under 12!
Tickets are for one day only. Tickets can be used for either the Saturday or Sunday.
Free Parking on site beside the woodland and Wood Fair exhibits.
Friendly dogs welcome on leads.

The Wood Fair is full of traditional rural charm celebrating all that is ‘Good about Wood’ in the outstanding beautiful Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Set in the beautiful Fish Pond Copse and the stunning surroundings of fields and woodlands in the grounds of Cranleigh Show Ground. Many familiar stallholders will be there, along with new ones too! There will be plenty to see and do!
There is something for everyone with a strong focus on families and lots for children to do from craft making to animal attractions. There will be tree climbing and zip wires, horse and wagon rides, a great variety of local produce. The Surrey and Sussex Coppice workers will be demonstrating their skills and there will be an opportunity to buy a whole host of wood crafted products.’

Tree Climbing & Zip Wires
Tree Climbing (£10 per child): 6 years and over
Zip Wire (£8 per child): 4 – 8 years
A fantastic and fun activity with sessions running at half an hour intervals throughout the day from 10.15 to 5pm. You will be able to book for either activity on the day but if you would like to book ahead we are offering pre-booking slots for the first 4 half an hour slots on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th October.
