The Surrey Hills Challenge charity event is one of the biggest sporting challenges in Surrey. A series of running and walking events take place on the beautiful landscape of the Surrey Hills, Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) on Sunday 26th September 2021 raising funds for the Surrey Hills Trust Fund, part of the Community Foundation for Surrey.
People of all ages and fitness can participate in five different running and walking challenges. The Surrey Hills will form the backdrop where the super fit can face the ultimate challenge with ‘The Ultra’, a 60km run, ‘The Full’ a 42km run or walk in the hills, ‘The Half’, no ordinary walk (or run) in the park of 21km, ‘The Ten’, a fast and furious 10km, ‘The Five’, a family challenge 5km event or ‘The One’, a kids 1km fun run.
The event will raise funds for the Surrey Hills Trust Fund to exclusively help local projects and community groups within the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). The fund is part of the Community Foundation for Surrey.
The Surrey Hills Challenge will take place on Sunday 26th September 2021. Registration fees per person for ‘The Ultra’ (60km) £80, ‘The Full (42km) £55, ‘The Half’(21km) £35, ‘The Family Ten’ (10km) £55, ‘The Ten’ (10km) £25, ‘The Family Five’ (5km) £35, ‘The Five’ (5km) £15 and ‘The One’ (1km) £2. A booking fee of £2 per registration is applicable. The event is open to everyone. Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian.
