SURREY HILLS WOOD FAIR 2019
A celebration of the Surrey Hills within the beautiful setting of woodlands and surrounding countryside.
DATES: Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th October 2019
TIME: 10am – 5pm
VENUE: Fish Pond Copse, Bookhurst Road, Cranleigh, Surrey GU6 7DW
DIRECTIONS: Access from Bookhurst Road on the A2127 between Cranleigh and Ewhurst.
A magnificent setting amongst woodlands and fields with easy access from Cranleigh within the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
TICKETS: £7.50 in advance (advance tickets closes at 12 noon on Friday 4th October) or £10 on the gate. Free for children under 12!
Tickets are for one day only. Tickets can be used for either the Saturday or Sunday.
Free Parking on site beside the woodland and Wood Fair exhibits.
Friendly dogs welcome on leads.

The Wood Fair is full of traditional rural charm celebrating all that is ‘Good about Wood’ in the outstanding beautiful Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Set in the beautiful Fish Pond Copse and the stunning surroundings of fields and woodlands in the grounds of Cranleigh Show Ground. Many familiar stallholders will be there, along with new ones too!
There is something for everyone with a strong focus on families and lots for children to do from craft making to animal attractions. There will be tree climbing and zip wires, horse and wagon rides, woodland demonstrations and activities and a whole host of wood crafted products and local food and drink to enjoy.
This year we are delighted to include performances from Dirty Soapbox – an Acoustic pop and rock covers trio. With their UK, US, and Australian influences, they will have you singing along, tapping your toes and wanting a boogie to their huge repertoire of recognisable songs – you can find out more information at: http://www.dirtysoapbox.com/

Tree Climbing (6 years upwards)
Tree climbing is one of the highlights of the Wood Fair! Not only is it an adrenaline rush, it builds confidence by taking you out of your comfort zone and encouraging you to challenge yourself. Tree climbers support and encourage one another building team work as they trust and rely on each other, testing balance and co-ordination. Eight people can tree climb together supported by a fully qualified instructors.
Tickets are £10 for 30 mins.*
Zip Wire – Kids only!
The Zip wire is a special treat for kiddies only – aged 4 – 8 yr olds.
Tickets are £5 for 30 mins.*
*Cancellation policy: Refunds for the tree climbing and zip wire activities will only be given if cancellation is made before the 1st October 2019 If you are unable to make your session or you miss the time slot of your session on the day we not able to offer refunds or alternative slots.
Get a taster of the art of cooking with fire and smoke, learning how to make our signature flatbreads with wild game kebabs and seasonal veggies. After our hands-on cookery workshop, you’ll get the chance to enjoy the fruits of your labour around our shared dining tables

Between the activities and demos, enjoy our wide variety of food and drink from the Surrey Hills, so treat yourself to a wood fired pizza, a Thai curry, a succulent burger (both beef and vegan!), a delicious homemade pastry, a glass of wine from the Surrey Hills or a Silent Pool gin and tonic!
