VENUE: Fish Pond Copse, Within Cranleigh Show Ground, Bookhurst Road, Cranleigh, Surrey GU6 7DW
DIRECTIONS: Access from Bookhurst Road on the B2127 between Cranleigh and Ewhurst.
A magnificent setting amongst woodlands and fields with easy access from Cranleigh within the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
TICKETS: £7.50 in advance (advance tickets closes at 12 noon on Friday 10th September) or £10 on the gate. Free for children under 12!
Tickets are for one day only. Tickets can be used for either the Saturday or Sunday.
Free Parking on site beside the woodland and Wood Fair exhibits.
Friendly dogs welcome on leads.

Join us for the 11th Surrey Hills Wood Fair that promises to be bigger and better than ever!
If you have never been before, come and experience an exciting day out with all your friends and family, and, if you have, then we look forward to welcoming you again and know that you will enjoy the ever increasing number of activities, stalls and entertainment!
The Wood Fair is full of traditional rural charm celebrating all that is ‘Good about Wood’ in the outstanding beautiful Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
There is something for everyone with a strong focus on families and practical activities with lots for both adults and children to do from craft making to animal attractions.
There will be the return of the very popular tree climbing and horse and wagon rides, plus even more woodland demonstrations, activities and a whole host of wood crafted products and local food and drink to enjoy.

There will be a wide range of free activities which may include:-
- Knife Skills
- Fire Making
- Axe Throwing
- Hedge and Hurdle Making
- Giant Board Games
- Drive a digger or dumper truck
- Bug hunts
- Forest bathing taster sessions

We have some really special extra activities that can be both booked in advance as well as on the day
Tree Climbing (6 years upwards)
Tree climbing is one of the highlights of the Wood Fair! Not only is it an adrenaline rush, it builds confidence by taking you out of your comfort zone and encouraging you to challenge yourself. Tree climbers support and encourage one another building team work as they trust and rely on each other, testing balance and co-ordination. Eight people can tree climb together supported by a fully qualified instructors.
Tickets are £10 for 30 mins.*
Zip Wire – Kids only!
The Zip wire is a special treat for kiddies only – aged 4 – 8 yr olds.
Tickets are £5 for 30 mins.*
*Cancellation policy: Refunds for the tree climbing and zip wire activities will only be given if cancellation is made before the 1st October 2019 If you are unable to make your session or you miss the time slot of your session on the day we not able to offer refunds or alternative slots.

Between the activities and demos, enjoy our wide variety of food and drink from the Surrey Hills, so treat yourself to a wood fired pizza, an African stew, a succulent burger, a delicious homemade pastry, a cold beer from the Surrey Hills or a Silent Pool gin and tonic!

Then visit our wide range of unique and interesting stalls for wonderful wood crafts, gifts and artisan products and to get a fascinating insight into everything related to wood and trees.

Making Space for Nature Zone
We are delighted to announce an exciting addition to the Surrey Hills Wood Fair 2021.
Come along to the “Making Space for Nature Zone” to explore some of the wonderful ways you can get involved with helping protect and enhance the special Landscape of the Surrey Hills.
- Kids will love our “Mega Bug Hotel” with modular parts and will get a chance to make their own a mini bug Hotel
- Encourage the birds into your garden by making your own seed balls
- Make the most fabulous flower head dresses to celebrate the colour and diversity of our flowers and foliage
- Learn about Forest Bathing and sign up for a taster session on the day
- Hear from experts on how they are helping to protect the national landscape
Plant your own tree!
Get involved with Surrey County Councils plan to plant 1.2 million trees and collect a beautiful native woodland tree to plant at home (subject to availability and suitability)
Are you a farmer or land owner? – Come along and find out about the new “Farming in Protected Landscapes” fund which supports climate, nature and access projects across the Surrey Hills area.

Purchase tickets for the Surrey Hills Wood Fair
Adult Advance Online ticket (up to 12 noon on Friday 10th September): £7.50 or £10 on the gate or on line after 12 noon on Friday 10th September.
PAYMENT: We use Paypal as our payment system, however, if you DO NOT have a paypal account you can still pay by debit / credit card when you click through to paypal.
When you submit your booking, the Paypal page comes up. Then under the blue box which says ‘Next’ there is an option to pay by credit or Debit card. If you click on this it will take you through the payment process.
TICKETS: An automatic email confirmation of your booking will be forwarded within a few minutes of making your booking. Please print and bring a copy with you.
To help manage numbers, your tickets are only valid for the days you have indicated below.
If you do not receive your email confirmation please check your junk or clutter folders. Tickets are non refundable.
