Join the Chairman of Surrey Hills Society, Chris Howard and walks leader, Graham Butler on a repeat of last year’s popular Shere Millennium Trail guided walk. We will be walking most of the Shere Parish Millennium Trail and you will enjoy the stunning scenery of the Surrey Hills around the picturesque villages of Gomshall and Shere.

Time: 11.15 am start for a 16.30 to 16.40 finish

Meet: at Gomshall Railway Station car park GU5 9NX

This morning walk is via Hoe Village, the Hurtwood to Peaslake for a lunch break (pub or picnic). The afternoon walk will go via Lane End Farm, Cotterell Farm, Shere Heath to Shere with a short break and back to Gomshall Station.

Please note: Dogs are allowed but contact leader Graham Butler before the walk. There are some short steep ascends and descents but the pace throughout is moderate. A train leaves Guildford Station at 10.56 or Bus 32 at 10.20 will drop you at the Compasses, a short walk to the train station.
