8:30 am - 10:45 am
HINOKI Forest Bathing followed by wild garlic foraging on 15th April 8:30-10:45 at near Dorking, Surrey.
ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TO THE UKRAINE HUMANITARIAN APPEAL.
During HINOKI Forest Bathing, walking slowly on a mindful sensory journey through the forest, helps us to relax, destress and enhance our wellbeing.
We use mindfulness to tune into our senses and take in the relaxing atmosphere of the trees and find our connection to nature.
Forest bathing originated in Japan, where it is called shinrin yoku. Research in Japan has shown forest bathing to improve our physiology, such as enhancing our immune system, stabilising blood pressure, lowering stress, improving sleep and concentration, as well as improving our wellbeing.
We end our sensory journey with a taste of nature foraging for wild garlic finished with a woodland tea and tasting food with wild garlic.
Join me to learn more about and experience the art and science of forest bathing and foraging for wild garlic, a herb that is bursting with nutrients.
