During your forest bathing session you will be gently guided through semi-ancient woodland for an unforgettable and relaxing experience.

About this Event

Join us on a sensory journey for relaxation and wellbeing, moving slowly through the woodland – mindfully connecting with all your senses.

We will take you on a two hour Forest Bathing+ journey through the stunning woodland of Box Hill, part of the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Boxhill takes its name from the ancient box woodland found on the slopes to the West.

Forest Bathing+ is based on the Japanese art of Shinrin Yoku and involves a slow exploration of nature through your senses, with additional mindfulness and meditation exercises to enhance your connection to the nature around you.

This session will be calming and relaxing, and Forest Bathing has scientifically proven beneficial therapeutic effects. You can learn more about the practice on our website www.tfb.institute.

This session will be a small group of up to 5 participants plus a Forest Bathing+ guide. Our guides will be maintaining social distancing, and may give gentle reminders from time to time, (in an unobtrusive way), as they take their duty of care very seriously. Outside of mindful exercises and sharing, the session is held in silence.

Due to additional Health and Safety considerations you will be required to complete and return the registration form in advance, so look out for the welcome email from your guide a few days before the event.
