About this Event
We will take you on a two-hour journey through the beautiful woodland of Newlands Corner, part of the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Forest Bathing+ is based on the Japanese art of Shinrin Yoku and involves a slow exploration of nature through your senses.
This session will be calming and relaxing and FB+ has scientifically proven beneficial therapeutic effects. You can learn more about the practice on our website www.tfb.institute.
Our Forest Bathing + route at Newlands Corner takes us through mixed woodland including oak, yew and birch. We will visit a grove of ancient Yews whose girth suggests ages of 500+ to more than 1000, on the northern wooded slope. Your guide will share many interesting facts, for example, how trees communicate and the role they can play in our strengthening our immune system.
This session will be a small group of up to 10 participants plus a Forest Bathing+ guide.
Due to Social distancing and additional Health and Safety considerations you will be required to complete and return the registration form in advance, so look out for the welcome email from your guide a few days before the event.
PLEASE NOTE DUE TO COVID SAFETY MEASURES FAILURE TO COMPLETE / RETURN ALL FORMS AND COMPLY WITH SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS MAY AFFECT OUR ABILITY TO ALLOW YOU TO PARTICIPATE IN THE EVENT.
