G Live Guildford GU1 2AA

The Mayor of Guildford, Councillor Gordon Jackson nominated the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty as his chosen charity for his Mayoral year, which is now drawing to a close. He has done an amazing job raising funds throughout the year, including a North Downs Way sponsored walk in October 2016, a Variety show, a Comedy night, a Surrey Hills Wine Tasting and participation in the Surrey Hills Challenge. Join him now for this fun ball in aid of the Surrey Hills and his other charity, Surrey Cancer Research Institute.

The 2017 Mayor’s Ball celebrates Guildford’s rich heritage and positive impact globally through innovation and enterprise. The evening will include a welcome drink, a delicious three-course dinner, dancing and live music from The Co-Stars.

There will also be the chance to bid for a money-can’t-buy prize in a silent auction to support the Mayor’s chosen charities.

With special guest Jonathan Pratt of BBC TV’s Bargain Hunt.

Dress code: Black tie

The cost will be £60 per person, or £55.00 for table of ten and includes a three course dinner and entertainment. Please identify yourself as a Surrey Hills Society member when booking, so you can be seated in our members’ area.
