Shere Trail
Starting Point: Park in Shere village car park, GU5 9HE, off of Upper Street
Length: 5 Km
This heritage trail takes in the beautiful and popular village of Shere, one of the valley’s best preserved historic communities. Explore not only the many intricacies of the village itself, but also the gentle walk through the fields to Albury Park and back, following the course of the Tillingbourne and taking in the historic churches, houses and river features (both natural and manmade) along the way.
This walk is part of a series of walks created as part of Tillingbourne Tales, a Heritage Lottery Funded project to unveil the industrial heritage of the Tillingbourne Valley.

A lovely walk, I'd say about 2 hours all told. Picture postcard village then nice countryside. Minor point but first church will be on your left rather than right. Saxon church well worth a visit
