This heritage trail takes in the distinctive Tillingbourne village of Albury, famous for its relocation a mile to the west in the 18th century. Explore its unique village architecture before meandering through Albury Park itself, a scenic parkland which combines medieval churches, landscaped gardens and woodland, all on the edge of the beautiful Albury Heath.
This walk is part of a series of walks created as part of Tillingbourne Tales, a Heritage Lottery Funded project to unveil the industrial heritage of the Tillingbourne Valley.

First part of the walk through Albury Park is wonderful. Not the easiest route to follow, especially the extension to walk the extra distance. Only criticism is that I can’t see why it’s rated 5. Done other walks on here rated lower which were longer and had stiffer climbs. Definitely would do this walk again though.
What a fantastic part of Surrey - an area we didn't know. Such wonderful walking and scenery - we will be back!
