Local Vineyard High Clandon are hosting a sculpture and art in the vineyard event ‘Art and Quintessence’ from 21 June to 5 July. The event showcases over 60 pieces of sculpture and art by noted artists in the Surrey Hills.
High Clandon are a small but very successful local vineyard nestled in the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in East Clandon. They produce high quality sparkling wine which has been well received by industry experts gaining them 3 international awards this year alone.
High Clandon Estate Vineyard was founded in 2004 by Sibylla and Bruce Tindale, both of whom have a passion to create quality English Sparkling Wine. Bruce is the vineyard and wine expert having obtained a Batchelor of Science in Viticulture & Oenology.
Sibyilla Tindale, owner comments;
“We are delighted to have won two gold and one bronze medals for our High Clandon Succession Cuvée 2009 vintage Brut. We are champagne lovers and believe entirely that the best of English sparkling wines can surpass those of France.”
The event also marks the launch of High Clandon’s 2010 vintage Cuvées, their multi-award winning English Quality Sparkling Wines, grown in the beautiful Surrey Hills at High Clandon.
A percentage of all sales from the ‘Art and Quintessence’event will go to High Clandon’s chosen charity, Cherry Trees, which provides respite care for children with disabilities.
