Wood as Fuel

WoodlandsIn an age where the global supply of fossil fuels is decreasing rapidly, it makes total sense to use locally grown and produced wood fuel.

Wood is a versatile fuel and can be burned in many different forms and in a number of different appliances. It can be burned to heat one or more rooms, the whole house or to produce hot water and to cook on.

With thanks to the National Energy Foundation and the Forestry Commission’s Biomass Energy Centre who provided much of the information on these pages.
