Join the Chairman of Surrey Hills Society, Chris Howard on a gentle stroll around some of the hidden gems of Guildford town.
Working in partnership with Surrey Hills Society, Cllr Gordon Jackson, the Mayor of Guildford will be undertaking a sponsored walk along the North Downs Way to support the Surrey Hills Trust Fund. SHS members, friends and supporters and members of the public are invited to join him for all or part of his route.
A chance to visit one of the most picturesque villages in Surrey, with its green nestling below the North Downs.
We will be fortunate to not only visit the main points of interest, but will also hear about two important village organisations, BERT (Brockham Emergency Response Team)
and the Brockham Bonfire organising committee.
This is a training day for those who want to get out and appreciate the Surrey Hills, but do not have the confidence and experience to use Ordnance Survey maps and a compass.
You are invited to the Surrey Hills Society Members’ Day and Annual General Meeting 2016. You can choose between AGM, visit and afternoon tea or participate to all of them. We are hoping to see as many of you as possible in this yearly gathering.
