Really enjoyed my trek with Pete Lambert. He is very knowledgeable and friendly, and does not rush new walkers!

At the end of the walking and map reading day, I was, as they say, ‘well chuffed’!

I love being part of an organisation where, not only do I get involved in protecting and enhancing my local area, but I get to enjoy and know more about the county in which I live. I also get to meet the most amazing people. Addicted for life, I think.

I strongly recommend the 20-30s treks to all my friends and just cannot wait for the first Sunday of each month to join a new trek as a mini getaway from the busy daily life.

A fabulous way to spend a day!!! Thoroughly enjoyed my walk and saw some stunning local scenery. Pete was a great trek leader, taking time to introduce us all and make us feel very welcome. He also is incredibly knowledgeable about the area.
Looking forward to the next walk, many thanks Pete!!

Great walk with Pete today! I would definitely recommend it to others. It's lovely to see the views surrounding Guildford, and also to learn a bit of history about the area too. I look forward to doing it again. Well done.

What a great day the Surrey Hills Society had organised at the Bocketts Farm. I had a great day with friends and our lovely children. We even saw twin baby lambs being born.

A great afternoon at Polesden Lacey playing the gentle game of croquet. When can we do it again?

Yesterday's SHS event was such a civilised affair, especially in the sunshine. All that was missing was a cucumber sandwich!
We whole-heartedly intend to pick up a croquet mallet again soon. Thanks for all the organising of these events, it is all very much appreciated!
