You have heard all about the success of English Sparkling wines, but have you recently tasted any English still wines? Last year at our wine tasting evening, we focused on Surrey Hills sparkling wines, but this year we will give all attention to Surrey Hills still wines. Join us at this exclusive event, featuring only these lesser known wines which are hugely gaining in popularity. Warm weather, improved wine making conditions and skills are making these wines a unique and tasteful drink, which can proudly be introduced as local produce. Allow yourself to be surprised by the variety and high quality!
This event is in aid of Surrey Hills Trust Fund, one of the chosen charities of the Mayor of Guildford who will be hosting the event and welcomes us to the magnificent Guildhall in Guildford. Constructed in the 14th century and extended in 1589, the Guildhall stands today as a noticeable landmark of the town with its striking facade and iconic clock (added in 1683) which can be seen throughout the High Street.
The cost will be £25.00 per person, which will include all the wines plus simple amuse-bouche to help your palate appreciate the wines. This tasting is only open to over-18s.
Booking is essential. Please enclose your e-mail address OR a stamped addressed envelope for confirmation of your booking with the downloadable slip below. Click on the blue letters, print it and return it to Warren Farm Barns before 15th January 2017. You will then be sent full details, directions and locations for the visit.
