A talk by Margaret Richardson of the Lutyens Trust

Following our successful visit to Chinthurst Hill last year and with a visit to Goddards planned for later this year we are pleased to have arranged for an illustrated evening talk on the work of Sir Edwin Lutyens in Surrey to be given by Margaret Richardson, a Trustee of the Lutyens Trust. The Trust is a charity, founded in 1984, dedicated to preserve and promote the Lutyens heritage and the Trust’s intervention and influence has helped protect many Lutyens buildings from harm. Margaret is herself an established author whose works include “Sketches by Edwin Lutyens” and “Architects of the Arts and Crafts Movement”.
Location: The Arbuthnot Hall, Shamley Green. (Full details with booking confirmation). Car parking available.
The Arbuthnot Hall is an Arts and Crafts building designed by the architect Charles Harrison Townsend who also designed the Whitechapel Art Gallery and the Horniman Museum.
The cost will be £6 for members and £8 for non-members and includes refreshments. There will also be a donation bar.
