In honour of the designation a host of events have been organised, starting with an evening reception on 8th May 2008 at the House of Commons, hosted by MP Sir Paul Beresford. The event which was sponsored by Ringway brought together a host of local people actively involved with the AONB. A series of photographs from the event can be viewed here.
