Mondays 10am - 2pm at Stoke Park, Guildford (booking required) - other days, times and venues by arrangement
Nordic Walking is an enhancement of ordinary walking using poles to exercise the upper body muscles as well as the legs. It is the fastest growing fitness activity in the world and is used by individuals, personal trainers, health clubs, physiotherapists, doctors and health promoters because it is highly effective, affordable, green and FUN! Nordic Walking is an ideal exercise for any age.
This is an opportunity for a free “taster” session of 30/45 minutes for beginners, with a CYQ (Central YMCA Qualification) Nordic and Fitness Walking Instructor. Nordic Walking poles will be provided.
This may be followed by a four week Beginner’s Technique course (fee payable) and led Nordic Walks in the Surrey Hills.
No dogs or children under 14 please.
