Hindhead Together is entering into a reciprocal arrangement with Barons of Hindhead. The Hindhead based car dealership is supplying Hindhead Together with the ‘Green Car of the Year 2008’; a BMW 1 series, branded with a bright livery. This is part of an innovative publicity campaign to publicise Hindhead Together and its website address around the locality, and, by so doing, adding to the general awareness of the day-to-day work of the project.
Hindhead Together is excited to be building this new link with local businesses and is pleased that an established business like Barons can see the positive angle of the changes to come in Hindhead. Hindhead Together Project Co-ordinator Caroline White says: “Barons has committed to remain on the London Road, helping to contribute to the economic future of Hindhead. With its low emissions and eco aware values, the corporate social responsibility of Barons fits with the aims of Hindhead Together to secure a brighter future for the Hindhead Area.”

I have been engaged with the partnership through their meetings and communications and continue to support their consultation and engagement with the businesses in the area.”
As Hindhead Together begins to work on a Wider Concept Statement for the Hindhead area, looking at infrastructure, services and potential offers in the area, it is key that local businesses are engaged with the partnership and this demonstration of support for the principles of Hindhead Together is very encouraging.
