The first public meeting of Hindhead Together, designed to launch the partnership into the conscious of the local residents and organisations in the area.
Over 70 people from local organisations, councils, and businesses as well as residents attended this meeting in November 2007. The overall feeling from guests was very positive.
Poul Christensen, Chairman of Hindhead Together commented 'We had an excellent turn out of partners and members of the public. They were able to hear more about the role of Hindhead Together Partnership, which is aiming to ensure that development is appropriate to the needs of local people and businesses, bringing this about whilst protecting and enhancing the Hindhead Commons Special Protection Area and the wider Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.'
