New Surrey Hills website launches with local business directory

Check out the new website for the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, www.surreyhills.org and discover how you can get involved in an exciting new project.

Thanks to the creation of a Community Interest Company (CIC), Surrey Hills Enterprises, the new website hosts an inclusive directory of local organisations and businesses under the theme Love Local, in addition to its traditional raft of information about this beautiful chalk and greensand landscape.

Surrey Hills Enterprises CIC, which will be officially launched in September, has been set up to help generate funds to support the conservation and enhancement of the AONB and its rural economy. If you Love Local, come and join it.

The website directory has the potential to offer information on everything from country walks to B&B accommodation and local food producers, providing a one-stop-shop for anyone interested in the Surrey Hills AONB, whether they live in the area or plan to visit or holiday here.

And in order to make the directory a success, businesses of all kinds based in the area are invited to explore the website and see how they can fit in and benefit from the promotion of the Surrey Hills Brand as a mark of provenance, heritage and passion for the AONB countryside. A core of local businesses is already supporting the initiative, so browse the site and sign up to join them.
